CH2M HILL Senior Land Allocation Manager Doha Qatar



Job Purpose

Qatar will be hosting the 2022 FIFA World Cupacirc132cent and become the first Middle East nation in history to stage this event. The associated construction programme will be part of a major country regeneration programme including the development of required infrastructure competition and noncompetitive venues.

CH2M HILL is the programme management PMC responsible for the construction management of competition venues training sites associated common domain precincts and the coordination of the regeneration programme integration works acting on behalf of the client Supreme Committee for Delivery Legacy

Job ResponsibilitiesAccountabilities

Within the PMC we have an Urban Planning Team that is responsible for ensuring that a coherent urban environment is created through the delivery of the SC's projects. Part of this responsibility is to manage the land acquisition process for the programme.

We have an immediate opportunity to strengthen the team with an experienced Senior Land Manager. The job responsibilities include

acirc151143 Serve as the manager and facilitator for all land acquisition requirements for SC projects and coordinate with SC counterpart.

acirc151143 Serve as the stakeholder manager for various external stakeholders related to the land acquisition process.

acirc151143 Review the existing land acquisition process used by local authorities and any accelerated processes utilized by key stakeholders.

acirc151143 Develop a SC specific land acquisition process for use on SC projects and gain agreement from local authorities to use this process.

acirc151143 Create the required land management process procedures and tracking tools for use by SC project teams.

acirc151143 Continuous Management Tracking and Reporting on all land acquisition requests and activities between the SC and relevant Stakeholders.Basic QualificationsJob RequirementsQualificationsExperience

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.


• Minimum of 15 years postqualification experience on relevant projects.


• Previous experience in the State of Qatar and GCC countries is preferred.


• Chartered status is preferred or membership with other professional affiliated institutions
