CH2M HILL Senior Contracts Engineer Marine Works Oil and Gas Abu Dhabi UAE



Job Purpose

Senior Contracts Engineer responsible to provide regular support and assistance in all commercial matters. Reports to the Construction Team leader.

The project comprises dredging reclamation shore protection harbor and jetty works pontoons heliports gatch access roads and fences. Some of the existing offshore clusters are to be extended with additional reclamation to provide more space for rig maneuvers drilling and oil production facilities. The reclamations will also provide space for 6No new heliports that are to be constructed for medical emergency evacuation. New jetties are to be constructed on Rafiq Island and Abu Al Abyad Island and a navigation channel is to be dredged between the two locations. This will allow access for landing craft to transport drilling rigs equipment and supplies between the two islands.

Job ResponsibilitiesAccountabilities

• Shall be responsible to provide regular support and assistance in all commercial matters review and verification of interim payment proposals and invoices including preparation of Payment Certificates where applicable administration of variations involving preparation of enquiries review and analysis of proposals drafting of management submissions and preparation of approved Variation Orders provision of contractual advice and control.

  • B.Sc. engineering with 10 12 years' experience with 8 years minimum experience in oilgas marine infrastructure.
  
  
  • Gulf experience is preferable.
