Head of Plant amp Machinery Valuations

Job descriptionMy client is one of the leading real estate consultancies in MENA region and continuously looking to expand operations throughout the Middle East. A service line that they currently provide is valuation for Industrial Assets this will include factories plant equipment and machinery. Due to the expansion plans and high demand my client is now looking for a new Head of Industrial Valuation Division to successfully manage this department and lead the execution of this business line.The main responsibilities includeLiaising with clients for valuation requirementsRegularly conducting site visits in UAE as well as other countries for examining plant and machinery to verify their condition maintenance level and estimating their remaining useful life Have knowledge of or be able to follow valuation and accounting standards Conducting market research to assess the prices of machinery and equipment in secondary market. Also keeping up to date on general technological developments and range of suppliers in the manufacturing and heavy equipment sector Liaising with machinery and equipment suppliers for obtaining quotations Prepare valuation reports and provide assessment of value of the plant andor machinery based on specified criteria such as Market Value Forced Sale Value and Reinstatement Value etc. Provide advice to clients on valuation matters Give evidence to prove the rationale behind the values given Business Development and expanding the company’s’ currentThe successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years in a similar role in the Middle East and will be expected to have excellent knowledge of the industrial plant and machinery market.
