Vice President Revenue Optimisation Systems

. Job Purpose Define and drive the development of the revenue optimisation systems portfolio and associated system support procedures including revenue forecasting and forwardlooking revenue reporting. In conjunction with the Revenue Steering Standards team create leadingedge airline revenue management pricing and forecasting strategies through business information architecture with standardisation across business solutionsapplications. Ensure revenue management innovation and enabling of state of the art technology for sustained competitive advantage and revenue maximisation. Role Accountabilities Lead and direct RO systems and system support procedures whilst maintaining a long term 35 year Revenue Optimisation business systems strategy to ensure revenue is maximised in line with corporate objectives. Ensure systems availability stability and quality is managed across all RO applications and that existing revenue management systems functionality is updated as future system releases are made available. Define design and implement the nextgeneration revenue management pricing forecasting and availability applications for the Emirates network to drive a greater degree of accuracy segmentation and optimization. This involves specification selection customisation implementation and UAT in conjunction with EGIT RO Revenue Steering Standards and external vendors. Ensure all technical enhancements and new systems capability is delivered to specification on time and within budget. Ensure all RO systems are able to support forwardlooking revenue pricing and commercial strategies through detailed business user requirement analysis. Provide indepth analysis related to forecasts and feed forward passenger and revenue forecast information into key commercial decision support systems. Qualifications Experience Qualifications Degree or equivalent in Operations Research Business Management or Computer Science Strong background in Mathematics Revenue Optimization Business Systems and Forecasting. Post graduate Ph.D.MScMBA qualification preferred. Experience 12 years' experience in airline industry or with a consulting or product company related to Revenue Optimization. Firsthand experience of airline revenue management pricing andor network planning. Firsthand experience required in largescale systems delivery and organization change management within the airline industry. Experience in reporting into and interfacing with Clevel executives in the organization. Knowledgeskills Proficient with the fundamentals of Revenue Optimization Revenue Planning Airline Pricing and Network Planning. Indepth knowledge of airline O.R. models applied statistics revenue forecasting and various statistical analyses methodologies. Practical knowledge of PROS OD would be an advantage.
