DescriptionWe have an immediate requirement for a Transportation Fuel Specialist Life Cycle Analysis to join the Research Development Center RDC based in Dhahran Saudi Arabia. As a part of a global initiative to develop transportation fuel RD expertise Saudi Aramco’s RDC is expanding its Dhahran based fuels technology team. This opportunity is for an experienced chemical engineer with extensive knowledge of refinery configuration and expert knowledge of linear programming.A B.S. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from an accredited university. An M.S. or Ph.D. would be preferred but is not essential. Nine 9 years of post graduate work experience with 5 years of experience of life cycle analysis. Familiarity with major modelingsimulation packages and chemistry coupling techniques.Conduct fuel comparison and life cycle analysis studies. Study the role of alternative transport energy sources such as biofuels CNG hydrogen and electrification. Organize highlevel events addressing future mobility. Disseminate information to the public domain e.g. through a website Engage in highlevel conferences and interindustry bodies e.g. DEER CRC NPC and USCAR Address unfounded market perceptions on alternatives and new oilbased transport technologies.
