Sales Marketing Manager Al Qasr Company
The Al Qasr Company is currently looking for a Sales Marketing Manager to join our team.
This role’s primary function is to grow the groups catering and venue activities including Meeting Incentives Conferences Corporate Wedding as well as the groups Catering business.
The successful candidate for this role will have demonstrated sales success in a similar position in service events or hospitality.
The Al Qasr Company Hospitality Group is renowned for quality timeless luxury and genuine service.
Featuring the elegant 5 star Palazzo Ballroom Venue that includes meeting and function facilities for the Meeting Incentives Conferences Corporate business and large scale Wedding Events business as well as high end Pastry Outlets and Catering Services.
This sales position is an integral part of a high performing hospitality group team and a key contributor to the business ongoing success.
The key responsibilities of this role will include
Responsibility to identify business targets and develop prospect relationships increase revenue for key Catering market segments
To actively and strategically source new revenue opportunities that will meet with the Catering revenue targets
Utilise company resources prospecting skills to source new business
Establish an external call pattern for meeting with key client contacts
Maintain regular contact with key contacts in the appropriate market segments including site inspections and sales calls
Assist in the development of the Catering Sales and Promotional Marketing plan
Source and participate in networking events
You will thrive on meeting and exceeding sales targets and knowledge market competitor activities will be key to achieve your goals.

Skills
For this role your attributes will be inclusive of the following
35 years experience within a similar role ideally in a luxury hotel or high end catering company
Proven negotiation influencing and communication skills
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Successful sales track record
Proficient in the use of Delphi or Opera experience
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Initiative drive and ability to thrive on exceeding targets
Works well under pressure in order to meet targets and deadlines
Previous hotel experience within a Catering Sales environment would also be highly regarded.
