Reporting to the Head of Airlines Consulting this role is handson and will require you to work with a team of consultants to provide analytical and strategic support to our customers. You will also work in partnership with the wider GECAS team.Essential Responsibilities Role SummaryPurpose continued The global nature and diversity of our assignments will require deep airline industry experience. In addition you will require the confidence and persona to work and interact at Board level with internal and external clients.

Essential FunctionsResponsibilities

• Key role leading high profile airline consulting projects and the development of AviaSolutions' range of advisory services to the airline sector.
  


• Selling AviaSolutions consultancy services to key airlines worldwide through the articulation of focused and value enhancing propositions.
  


• Management of airline consulting projects delivering to key customers including
  
  oClient interfacemanagement.
  
  oDevelopment of client propositions and proposals.
  
  oProject planning and resource allocation.
  
  oManagement of analytical resource to ensure conclusions are robust insightful marketbased and that outputs have intellectual rigour.
  
  oManagement of the production of clear concise reports to clients highlighting rationale for advicerecommendations and providing insight into opportunities and risks.
  
  oPresentation of results to clients.
  


• Significant levels of travel will be required.
  

  
  
  The responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature of the work assigned and are not exhaustive. Although the focus will be on airline consultancy services there is an expectation that the role will support other areas of the business such as airport consultancy services offering a broad range of experience.

  
  
  QualificationsRequirements Experience Skills

  • Deep expert level knowledge of the airlines sector
    
  
  
  • Significant experience of airline management ideally in the network commercial strategy fields at a senior level together with experience in the management consultancy sector.
    
  
  
  • Strong experience in airline network planning strategy fleet planning and finance.
    
  
  
  • Strong management and leadership skills including the coordination of multidisciplinary teams within a defined programme and budget.
    
  
  
  • Excellent analytical skills rigour and attention to detail.
    
  
  
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills exemplary English language skills
    
  
  
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex analytical issues to clients and to wider nonexpert stakeholders e.g. Government officials.
    
  
  
  • Ability to prioritise and simultaneously manage multiple tasks.
    
  
  
  • Ability to work in a team environment and to work to strict project deadlines.
    
  
  
  • Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment and with remote teams
