B1 Licenced Engineers

Job Description

MPI are currently looking for B1 Licenced Engineers ideally with Falcon 20 type rating for a Fixed Term 2.5 yr nbsppermanent position which could then be extended.

Rate of pay pound43400 per annum

Applicants that do not have Falcon 20 Type Rating will be given the training to obtain this and then there will be a increase of pound2000 to their wages.

Applicants that already have this will be paid the increase upon starting.

This position will be mainly based in Bournemouth Dorset nbsp hours of work MonThurs 08.0016.0008.0015.30 Friday. ndash Some shift work may be required and possible overtime of which payment will be made accordingly.

You will be required to go on detachment within the 2 12 year period 45 times for approx. 68 weeks to Saudi Arabia.

You will be given a daily allowance whilst in Saudinbsp of pound150 per day.

Any overtime will be paid accordingly ndash whilst overseas you may be required to

work weekends.

You may also be required to go to other sites such as Crete Norway or Culdrosenbspnbspnbspnbsp

Cornwall so flexibility is required.

You may be requested to work shiftsnbsp shift payments will be made.

There are 3 sites out in Saudi so whilst on detachment you could be based at any of these sites depending on where asked to go.

The detachments will be twice a year in Qtr1 NovemberDecember and Qtr 4 JanuaryFebruary the cooler months

Accommodation whilst overseas could be either anbsp hotel or an apartment within a compound.

Selected contractors who do not have sufficient relevant experience will possibly not go on the 1stnbspdetachment but will go on the next.

Applicants must have proven and recent supervisory experience leading teams

and a proven record of delivery in a production environment.

You will be working alone or as part of a team. Ideally have good leadership and motivational qualities. Come from a Commercial background ndash working to tight deadlines and budgetary requirements.

Applicants must be flexible and understand they will be away from home for extended periods

Ideally you will be Falcon 20 type rated but our Customer will also consider applicants with Business Jet King Air rating

Our Customer is prepared to train Engineers up to the Falcon 20 type rating.

Applicants to Ideally have experience on pressurised twin engine turbineturbo prop aircraft above 5700KG

You must have served an Aircraft Apprenticeship or equivalent and have copies of papers.

Be Computer literate

Have an ambition to cross trade and extend licence to cover category B2 certification privileges.

Applicants must have extensive line experience and ideally some base maintenance.

Duties Carry out tasks to the best of your ability supervise and certify any work within the terms of the Company authorisation in technical logs or on Company

Worksheetswork cards.

Complete worksheetswork cards as soon as the tasks are complete and write any additional defects found on to additional worksheetswork cards and have the

completed worksheets to hisher supervisor.

See that all test equipment used in your work is currently calibrated.

Be particularly responsible for the maintenance of aircraft allocated to you by your Chief EngineerMaintenance manager as well as the ground movements of aircraft

assigned to you by your Chief Engineer. Assume overall responsibility for all trades engaged in work on the aircraft you have been allocated.

Defining co ordinating and being present at all occasions requiring hydraulic system andor engine ground run functional testing of aircraft systems.

Assuming direct control of documentation of aircraft under your control in order that you may assure yourself that all required entries are promptly and correctly

Basic Security Clearance will be required if selected for this position but any Visas that are required will be dealt with by our Customer.
