Fluor is providing program management and construction supervision services for the approximately 5 billion Sharq Crossing program



Sharq Crossing is a marquee program in Qatar's ambitious development plans ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The project will traverse Doha Bay and will comprise bridge sections interconnected by an immersed tube tunnel to create a new passageway beneath the waters of Doha Bay. Completion of the system is required by 2020 to support the runup to the World Cup event.



Job Description The specific requirements and accountabilities of this position are as follows

acirc151143 Support the monitoring and review activities of Lead Design Consultant and DampB contractors for implementation of requirements to obtain necessary road opening approvals.

acirc151143 Support the review and monitoring of lead consultant design production activities for compliance to contract deliverables

acirc151143 Attend any required meetings with utility agency's personnel to review schedule scope design and cost adjustments or relocations of any kind

acirc151143 Ensure that the requirements and conditions attached to any consents are included in the contract documents for construction contracts

acirc151143 Coordinate all utility diversions schemes and the design thereof whether these works are designed or constructed by the effected utility organization or by the project team.

acirc151143 Coordinate all highways and traffic related interfaces across the project and shall ensure that the requirements of interfacing highways and traffic related works are taken into account in the planning of the Sharq works.

acirc151143 Coordinate with utility providers and document through the production of minutes and reports and provide regular status reports to utilitiespermits amp coordination manager

acirc151143 Utilize interface management tools to track and monitor the exchange of information across the programme

acirc151143 Be the point of contact for all utility companies and other statutory bodies for utilities interface and coordination relocation diversions etc.



Basic Job Requirements



acirc151143 An accredited BSc Beng BA or Equivalent

acirc151143 3 years experience

acirc151143 Regional experience preferred



Other Job Requirements



acirc151143 Qualified professional working under limited supervision capable of performing general technical works and manages projects or tasks of moderate complexity or less experienced personnel.

acirc151143 Well experience in coordinating and monitoring the work of contractors

acirc151143 Well experience in specifications plans reports scheduling and design.

acirc151143 Must be proficient in Microsoft Syst more...
