Solutions Design Manager Business Analysis Practice

. Job Purpose •Develop and establish a Business Analysis Centre of Excellence within the Business Solution design unit of IT. Develop a framework of research and analysis to introduce and evaluate new industry concepts and supporting technology to provide quantifiable business performance improvements and solutions •Ensure the Solution Design Managers are kept abreast of the latest trends in the Business Analysis domain and its application onto each of their domain specific areas. Leverage the Industry knowledge and ecosystem to establish a framework of best practise in the Business Analysis domain. •Optimisation of Business Analysis resources across the IT work programme through a welldefined operating model that would scale as per the work programme needs. •Develop and maintain expert knowledge of the Business Analysis competency encompassing Emirates Group and industry practices technology trends and innovation. Ensure channels for research and learning are established and innovation is applied to design methodologies. Establish career development plans training for direct reports and provide appropriate mentoring and coaching. Conduct timely annual and interim performance reviews and set SMART objectives to cultivate a culture of high performance. Ensure that the team develops requisite level of business domain and technical knowledge to effectively manage relations with Emirates Group business units. Qualifications Experience •Degree or Honours 123 or equivalent in a relevant domain preferred e.g. Operations Research Marketing science Information Systems ecommerce •Demonstrated use of operations researchoptimization techniques in the airline industry is preferred •8 yrs of IT Business Analysis experience with recognised expertise of relevant competency in a Business Analysis Centre of Excellence Position in a top tier travel or high technology corporation and within Industry forums. •IIBA credentials – International Institute of Business Analysis and CBAP certified. •Information Technology.
