Purpose of the Job

Is in charge to ensure that the technical delivery meets customer satisfaction within the agreed upon budget. Provides guidance to the team members to achieve the project goals. Frequently interacts with customer management andor functional peer group members. Manages coordination of activities of a project with responsibility for results in terms of costs methods and workload.

Responsibilities

bull Conducts technical review of application designs and works with the application areas to ensure that project requirements are met.

bull Ensures hardware availability in support of software requirements.

bull Provides overall technical direction in the system development and has general responsibility for system integration and testing.

bull Acts as primary interface to the customer on technical issues dealing with software and system level designs including functionality. Keep customers abreast of technical developments.

bull Ensures generation of system level documents assists in the development of progress reports to the customer and monitors the development of documentation for the system.

bull Works with Marketing during the proposal phase of a contract to provide accurate estimates of project work.

bull Ensures that the system developed and delivered to the customer is of high quality and meets all technical requirements of the contract.

bull Works with the customer to resolve any technical issues that may develop.

bull Creates the project schedule. This includes providing the Project Manager with accurate estimates for all technical work required to complete the project.

bull Manages and reviews technical work done by other project engineers assigned to the project providing technical guidance and direction in all phases.

bull Acts as primary technical interface with the customer participating in any technical decisions with the customer.

bull Tracks progress of software developers and assist in the resolution of design issues.

bull Tracks progress of the integration effort and assist in the resolution of any technical issues that may arise.

bull Accountable for the completion of any acceptance testing required in contract.

bull Works with customer in identification of requirements for change of scope.

bull Works with Project Manager to plan and execute project handoff to customer support.

bull Other duties as assigned by management position in the Organization

Qualifications

Educational Requirements

Minimum Bac 5 specialization in IT computer science

23 years of experiences in a similar position

Technical Knowledge Experience

bull Must have excellent knowledge and experiences in implementation deployment administration troubleshooting of real time system.

bull Understands highly complex hardware and software configurations in a realtime environment.

bull Knowledgeable about EMSSCADA specific applications

bull Knowledgeable about electrical network management

Technical Skills amp Competencies

bull Capable of conveying very technical information in written and oral form to both technical and nontechnical recipients.

bull Must be able to manage multiple tasks and be selfdirected in workload prioritization.

bull Strong interpersonal skills required for team and customer interaction.

bull Must be dependable and self motivated in work habits.

bull Must be able to attend work on a daily basis in a regular and timely manner.

bull Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable presenting technical design technical solutions and enterprise architecture solutions to clientscustomers French amp English.
