Job descriptionApplication Support Analyst – SP Dow Jones Indices The Role As an Application Support Analyst you will be a key player in the implementation and support of our Global RealTime Index Platform that runs major headline indices like SP 500 and Dow Jones industrial. You will work effectively to undertake production support for mission critical realtime applications. The Impact The candidate will help the business meet its commitment to the global financial community by ensuring a highlevel of availability of our realtime indices and provide exemplary service to our clients and stakeholders. Your role with have an impact on the business as your responsibility will be to monitor our critical realtime index calculation processes and system health. QualificationsYour Skills You will have a degree in Computer Science Information Systems or Engineering experience in Oracle Database environment – SQL PLSQL procedures and also experience in deploying applications in Weblogic servers. Knowledge of Linux Operating System and Networking Protocols TCPIP Unicast Sockets and IP addressing is also a must have.
