    Position Function

    
    
    
    
    • Responsible for all areas relating to accounting functions and financial reporting. This position will be responsible for daily weekly and monthly accounting tasks and activities.
      

      Duties amp Responsibilities

      
      
      
      
      • Maintain the chart of accounts and approve any modification or the opening of a new account in the general ledger
      
      
      • Provide guidance and support on Balance Sheet and Account Control related activities.
      
      
      • Review the unrealized profits booked against substandard loansnbsp
      
      
      • Review the provisions booked specific general existing loans
      
      
      • Supervise concerned units with necessary instructions for the proper preparation of accounting entries related to
      
      
      • Accruedprepaid expenses accrueddeferred income
      
      
      • Payroll Social Security contributions and income taxnbsp
      
      
      • Fixed assets and depreciationsnbsp
        
        
        
        • Provide units with the proper explanation of accounting principles
        
        
        • Review the daily report of obligatory reserve
        
        
        • Review the end year closing entries and ensure all required provisions are booked
        
        
        • Review and follow up the submittal of income declarations and related settlement
        
        
        • Ensure proper maintenance of capital expenses general expenses and depreciations’ records and approve related accounting entriesnbsp
        
        
        • Approve payment requests for capital expenses general expenses and related accounting entriesnbsp
        
        
        • Supervise amp review customer loan disbursement checks and forward to financial controller for signature and approval
        
        
        • Review all the department’s accounting entries
        
        
        • Check the consolidated daily journal and verify daily transactionsnbsp
        
        
        • Respond to internal external audit requests
        
        
        • Review the department’s reports Desired Profile
          
          
          
          • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
          
          
          • Fluent read speak and write Arabic and English.
