Professor and Program Chair MSc in Information Security

The College of Engineering in Khalifa University consists of departments and programs in Aerospace Biomedical Civil Electrical and Computer Industrial and Systems Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering. The College is also particularly focused on research in Information and Communication Technology Aerospace Transport and Logistics Energy and the Environment Healthcare and Security. The Professor and Program Chair will work together with the Chair of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering to develop the strategic plan for the Program of Information Security. She will provide leadership direction and continuity for longterm planning and operational execution in educational and administrative activities of the Program. Reporting directly to the Chair of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering the appointee will work collaboratively with departmental College and University colleagues to direct and guide the Program towards excellence in teaching and engagement with stakeholders. She will provide leadership to research of relevance to Information Security and will work with the Chair of the Department to develop a research plan to contribute to the overall research plan of the College of Engineering. Qualifications Doctoral degree in Information Security or a related field Demonstrated excellence in scholarly activity and research as evidenced by their publication records andor letters of recommendation Experience in and commitment to teaching and mentoring students Capability to be creative in developing new innovative programs that would differentiate Khalifa University's programs from other institutions in order to attract more high quality students.
