Procurement amp Logistics

This position is responsible monitoring analyzing coordinating and planning the activities of the procurement amp stock logistics and general operations functions. Coordinating with heads of departments to ensure management objectives are met.



The Procurement amp Logistics Officer will be responsible for

•Monitoring analyzing and optimizing progress of the procurement amp logistics function

•Conferring with heads of department to ensure materials delivery foreign and local of projects is progressing according to schedule and within budgetary guideline

•Optimizing delivery dates and payment terms of procurement material

•Developing timely procurement stock operations and logistics reports for management review

•Overseeing procurement and stock department operations

•Developing relationships with local and foreign vendors

•Searching for new sources of supply

•Controlling cost of purchasing

•Ensuring accurate stock operations and record keeping

•Other duties may be assigned

•Experience in the contracting andor manufacturing field is preferred s

•Strong personal and supervisory time management skills

•Knowledge of Primavera is a plus

•Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Arabic

•Excellent analytical and organizational skills

•Supervisory ability
