Pulse International is looking for a Manager Social Work amp Case Management for an exciting new healthcare project in Qatar.

Scheduled to open in 2015 the Sidra Medical and Research centre will offer the latest technology and equipment to meet worldclass standards in patient care medical education and biomedical research. There will be a sophisticated clinical and translational research programme general adult medical and surgical services and specialty care for women and children. The centre will be a teaching venue for medical students at Weill Cornell Medical College a branch of the prestigious Ivy League university in New York.

The Department of Social Work provides family centred services to women children and families to cope with acute chronic andor palliative care. Departmental support services include counselling families advising caregivers and assisting in a team approach for children and adolescents receiving treatment. Case Management is the process of guiding patients and families through complex medical treatment protocols and coordinating treatment through multiple providers.

The Manager Social Work amp Case Management is responsible for leading and demonstrating the provision of safe patient and family focused quality care on hisher service 24hours a day. The Manager Social Work amp Case Management is a key member of the interprofessional team and ensures that standards for clinical care are adhered to at the service level. The Manager Social Work amp Case Management in collaboration with team members is accountable for ensuring that commissioning recruitment onboarding orientation and service activation responsibilities are carried out in accordance with Sidraacirc128153s plans policies and timelines. The Manager Social Work amp Case Management is responsible for identifying risks in these processes informing leadership and actively participating in managing timely solutions

The successful candidate for this job will have a Masteracirc128153s degree in Social Work or an equivalent programme with at least seven yearsacirc128153 relevant experience in progressive management and supervisory roles within a hospital setting.
