Pulse International is looking for a Manager Occupational Therapy for an exciting new healthcare project focused on women and children in Qatar.

Scheduled to open in early 2015 the Sidra Medical and Research centre will offer the latest technology and equipment to meet worldclass standards in patient care medical education and biomedical research. There will be a sophisticated clinical and translational research programme general adult medical and surgical services and specialty care for women and children. The centre will be a teaching venue for medical students at Weill Cornell Medical College a branch of the prestigious Ivy League university in New York.

The Manager for Occupational Therapy is responsible for leadership in the areas of operations administrative functions and collaboration with clinical programmes. The Manager for Occupational Therapy is also responsible for the development of programmes and programme evaluation research activities and evidence based practices facilitating education programs and performing other duties consistent with the classification as delegated by the Director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The Manager for Occupational Therapy promotes a culture of continuous improvement and helps to generate innovative ideas within Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

The successful candidate for this post will be a qualified Occupational Therapist with a Bacheloracirc128153s degree Masteracirc128153s preferred and at least seven years clinical experience to include two years relevant management experience in an acute western or Australasian paediatric hospital.
