Our Client an Oil amp Gas Company in Qatar is seeking for the below.


JOB TITLE ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Roles amp Responsibilities

149 Support company146s guiding principles.

149 Actively contribute to departmental and organizational goals.

149 Develop andor review cost effective conceptual designs and technical solutions on which engineering contractors base their work.

149 Work with project engineers and other stakeholders to ensure that robust and accurate project execution plans are prepared.

149 Manage and direct detail design contractor resources. Chair in house design reviews and with engineering contractors. Ensure accuracy and validity of all work produced.

149 Produce adhoc reports studies calculations and assessments relating to electrical discipline activities.

149 Perform offshore surveys discuss findings with offshore personnel and report findings recommendations and actions.

149 Monitor international codes and code compliance. Keep abreast of changes and effectively communicate these within company where required.

149 Ensure all company codes and standards are fit for purpose relevant to the business needs and compatible with international codes and standards.

149 Actively manage the company146s electrical person authorization process thereby ensuring adequately trained competent authorized and senior authorized personnel are available to support the offshore and onshore production operations.

149 Provide troubleshooting support to company146s operations and Maintenance groups where engineering support is requested or needed. Act as custodian of the company146s Electrical Safety Rules.

149 Proactively promote the development and compilation of facilities technical information.

149 Monitor technology advances and raises opportunities to implement those which benefit the organization.

149 Participate in regular Management of Change screening meetings 150 adopt a proactive approach to process risk management within discipline.

149 Play a key role in improving and enhancing engineering contract definition.

149 Provide mentoring to less experienced team members and Qatari Developees.

149 Promote the development and use of material supply agreements.

149 Promote the development and use of approved supplier lists.

149 Ensure that inherent safety in design is maintained. Help to foster a good safety culture within facilities engineering group.


Education

149 Engineering at degree level or equivalent is preferred. Lesser qualified candidates with extensiverelevant experience in lieu of a formal qualification may be considered


ProfessionalTechnical Knowledge

149 Candidates require a technical background in hisher discipline with stand alone abilities in preparing scopes of work and deliverables.

149 Good presentation communication and written skills. Logic thinking and analytical skills.


ProfessionalTechnical QualificationsLicensesCertifications

149 A Chartered engineer is preferred for this position.


Experience

149 8 150 10 years experience in Electrical Engineering activities with a minimum of one specialized attribute.
