We are currently recruiting for a Project Delivery Manager on a full time basis located at our office in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide dedicated engineering support to the Client Team.

The project is a General Engineering Services contract with a major Oil amp Gas Operating company to upgrade and debottleneck a number of existing facilities in southern Iraq.

Detailed Description

• Direct and manage project development from beginning to completion


• Liaise with the Client?s InCountry Team.


• Liaise with the Client?s local Operations and Maintenance staff.


• Liaise with the WGPSN Design Team based in the UAE Home Office.


• Oversee site contractors during installation and commissioning activities.


• Promote safe behaviour at all times.


• Completes the scope of work to the satisfaction of the client while simultaneously ensuring that WGPSN?s core values are met.


• Develop fullscale project plans and associated communications documents.


• Set and effectively communicate project expectations to team members in both Home Office and site based design teams in a timely and clear fashion.


• Liaise with the Client on an ongoing basis.


• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.


• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.


• Track project milestones and deliverables.


• Develop and deliver progress reports proposals required documentation and presentations as required.


• Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas.


• Proactively manage all changes in the project scope identify potential hold points and devise appropriate contingency plans.


• Build develop and grow business relationships with Client for the successful completion of the project.


• Recognise areas for improvement and communicate them to senior management Client to ensure continual improvement.

  • Experience of project planning tools such as PRIMAVERA or equivalent
  
  
  • Knowledge of Mechanical Equipment packages and in particular those associated with Produced Water treatment and disposal
  
  
  • Knowledge of Procurement and Construction Management
  
  
  • Thorough awareness of relevant international codes and standards
  
  
  • Strong commitment to safety
  
  
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Excel and Word

        Business amp Industry Experience

        
        

        
        
        • Significant experience in the oil and gas industry
        
        
        • Previous experience proven capability in an engineering design company
        
        
        • Previous experience of sitebased project work involving surveys data gathering and field engineering
        
        
        • Experience of working on Brownfield projects is essential
        
        
        • ProcessChemical Engineering background is preferred
        
        
        • Experience of working with multinational and multicultural project teams is strongly preferred
        
        
        • Knowledge of multidiscipline engineering is essential
        
        
        • Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage
          
          
          

          
          

          Educational Attainments

          
          

          
          
          • Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
          
          
          • Membership of a recognised professional institute preferred
