The Company

KMC are very pleased to be offering this excellent Opportunity to join a rapidly expanding Risk Consultancy who are headquartered in the UK with offices around the world and who are currently expanding their team based in Abu Dhabi with Staff hires. The company is going through a major expansion phase making this an excellent time to get on board.

The Role

The position is for Principal Consultant with over ten years Oil and Gas field experience onshore and offshore able to supervise the Technical Safety Group.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Regional Director the candidate must have the following experience

• Hazard Operability HAZOP workshops


• Hazard Identification HAZID workshops


• Project HSE Reviews PHSER or VAR


• Safety Integrity Assessment SIL
  
  
  

  Additionally the following would be useful

  
  

  
  
  • Quantitative Risk Assessment QRA
  
  
  • Control of Major Accident Hazard COMAH Reports
  
  
  • Identification of HSE Critical Equipment and Systems HSECES and Development of Performance Standards Verification schemes
  
  
  • Safety Studies EERA ESSA Dropped Object etc
  
  
  • Gas amp Smoke dispersion Vent Flare Analysis
  
  
  • Building Risk Assessment
  
  
  • Development of HSE Cases
  
  
  • Fire Safety Assessment
  
  
  • Reliability Availability Maintainability Studies
    
    
    

    Working knowledge of DNV PHAST SAFETI Shell Shepherd FRED and workshop software packages would be desirable.

    
    

    The Requirements

    
    

    The successful candidate will be expected to be technically competent and an effective manager.

    
    

    The individual must be able to demonstrate Risk amp Process Safety knowledge and over ten yearsrsquo experience in the Oil and Gas industry of major accident hazards.

    
    

    To this end they should have

    
    

    
    
    • A team player capable of forward planning setting objectives and target oriented
    
    
    • Sensitive to local customs with excellent verbal communication amp influencing skills
    
    
    • An experienced and capable user of information technology and common operating environment applications.
