Senior Production Engineer London STAFF

MSc in Petroleum Engineering from a recognized university.

Sufficient experience working either for majorindependent upstream oil amp gas operators or those of multinational oil field service companies.

Responsible for providing timely wellconsidered technically sound production technologybased advice to multiple Subsurface teams and other inhouse clients. Capable of taking on additional responsibilities as and when required.

Support business development activities by providing production technology advice to assist with technical and commercial evaluation of upstream investment opportunities and participate within SS teams in their assessment of such opportunities.

Support SS ampAsset Teams by providing production technology advice to challenge and assure quality of SS team39s technical works.

Ensure all relevant data is used to characterize subsurface assets.

Ensure that uncertainties inherent in data are properly communicated and that the effect of these uncertainties on results is understood.

Ensure that scopequality of technical work is consistent with commercial decision upon which the work relies.

Key work outputs must be reviewed by the Principal Production Engineer or PEC team leader or equivalent.

Approval for acquisition of thirdparty services or data must be sought prior to any action to acquire.

Technical Competencies

Strong appreciation of drilling methods concerns and processes.

Comprehensive appreciation of various well construction and completion designs.

Strong appreciation of various formation evaluation methods.

Firm understanding of various artificial lift methods and its impact on well productioncompletionoperations.

Good knowledge of production chemistry and formation damage.

Firm understanding of various well stimulation methods.

Knowledge of injectionproduced water management.

Knowledge of sand control and management.

Highquality ability to perform classical production technology analyses such as wellnetwork nodal analysis using MBALPROSPERGAP or WELFLOREO scaling tendency calculation tubing stress analysis pressure transient analysis and artificial lift optimizations.

Strong appreciation of facilities equipment to facilitate process of produced fluids.

Firm understanding of well and field production operations routines.
