Module Construction Piping Engineer Air Energi

Air Energi are currently recruiting on behalf of an Oil and Gas Operating company who to an expanding pipeline project require an experienced Module Construction Engineer with a piping discipline. The role is to work primarily inNorway with occasional need to travel to other locations includingPoland.

The Module Construction Piping Engineer will support the fabrication requirements on this pipeline expansion project. They will be required to work with the Norwegian contractor on the delivery of a 17000 MT of process modules and pipe racks in a variety of fabrication site locations includingNorwayPolandandChina.

Typical duties will include

• Driving delivery of piping scope including mechanical static equipment in fabrication with a focus on the work scope quality HSE and progress.


• Verifying compliance with specifications and codes and standards specified in the contract through inspection test plans mechanical completion check sheets and precommissioning


• Act as the discipline representative for delivery and being responsible for implementing best practises and requires changes


• Driving delivery of workpacks and materials to meet fabrication site need dates


• Ensuring implementation of material receipt preservation requirements


• Participate in baseline updates tool box talks reviews and risk assessments reporting to the Fabrication site managers.
  
  
  

  Successful candidates will hold a BSc or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or considerable working experience within this role as well as a minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience in the Oil and Gas industry having spent 6 years a piping engineer in project execution engineering and construction. Fluency in English is essential and a proficiency in Norwegian would also be advantageous but not essential.
