Avant Communication is a Dubai based full service brandcommunications provider following a 360 degrees communications strategy. As a total solutions agency we draw from our 12 divisions to build brands that communicate a strong consistent message across all disciplines.



Established in 2005 we are continually expanding and as such to maintain our stringent levels of service Avant Communication requires a new Copywriter for their Corporate Branch in Dubai U.A.E. For this role we require a person who takes the initiative solves problems efficiently and wishes to become an integral member of the Avant Communication team.

Job Description

A new position has opened for a talented creative copywriter with three to four years experience in an advertising agency.

NO feature writers and journalists please. Only advertising copywriters with a proper portfolio of ads.

You must have an advertising qualification from AAA School of Advertising Red and Yellow or similar.

You must have previous ADVERTISING agency experience of 3 to 4 years.

A strong portfolio of ads is a must.

You must have strong conceptual skills.

It is essential that you understand what Single Minded Propositions and Unique Selling Propositions are.

Your ideas must be creative as well as strategic to create advertising that is both interesting and effective.

You must be able to write both long and short body copy.

You must be organised and adhere to deadlines.

You must be able to work as part of a team while also being motivated to work independently.

A strong attention to detail is required.

Your English ability both spoken and written needs to be immaculate.

Excellent English spelling and grammar skills are nonnegotiable.

You should be flexible to work in any medium from print and radio to TV and Outdoor.

You need to be confident in order to share your ideas with your colleagues and also to present and sell work to clients.

You should have an eagerness to learn.

Proficient in Microsoft Office. Hold a valid driver's license.

Advantageous

Most beneficial if the candidate is able to speak amp write Arabic but not compulsory. In addition to English any other spoken amp written languages are welcomed.

Knowledge of creative design software Adobe Illustrator Photoshop Premiere InDesign.
