This position is part of the onsite C17 Globemaster Field Services Team at AlMubarak AB Kuwait City Kuwait. Candidates must be US citizens prepared for a multiyear assignment international long term assignment move assistance to Kuwait will be provided. This position provides support to Boeing flightline and backshop maintenance activities in support of the Kuwait Air Force KAF. Applicant will work independently to provide tooling and supply support of activities associated with daytoday operations of C17 Globemaster III aircraft to meet KAF mission requirements related. Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage production and other locations in the company. Applicant will primarily be responsible for Consolidated Tool Kits CTKs tool and equipment check out and check in and accountability of all tools and equipment in Tool Accountability System TAS. Individual will maintain tools test equipment and tool storage areas and follow procedures for control and management of replacement of damaged expendable and consumable hand tools HAZMATs and other items contained in CTKs. Ensures accuracy of Master Inventory List and Material Safety Data Sheets MSDS. Applicant will be required to interact with both the customer and management to provide information on C17 tool and support equipment status and determine problem resolution. Applicant will be responsible to ensure accurate tracking and scheduling equipment for scheduled calibrations. Performs tasks including materials handling receiving inspecting inventory control expediting line loading material tracking auditing and troubleshooting. Ships receives stores and moves materials using motorized and manual materials handling equipment hand tools and other equipment. The tasks associated with this position include issue and track Consolidated Tool Kits stock store and issue of parts and material receiving inspection packaging amp crating of reparable parts and components export and shipping documentation inventory control and some repair order functions. Perform followup and tracking of shipments and coordinate support requirements with the customer. Coordinates with various departments to expedite and complete maintenance activities and the planning preparing issuing and controlling of material requirements and maintenance schedules to avoid schedule delays. This position prefers knowledge of Supply Support processes policies and procedures as well as knowledge of the Government OnLine Data GOLD system G081 maintenance data base and Tool Accountability System TAS. Other skills include use of material handling equipment including 10K forklift and electrostatic discharge ESD handling requirements. Understanding of procurement functions and the ability to meet the training requirements for procurement delegation is required. Understanding of general aircraft maintenance hand tools is required. Full understanding of the use and handling of calibrated tooling and metrology tracking systems.
