Job Description Seadrill is a leading offshore deepwater drilling company aiming to be our customers' most important partner in making oil and gas available in a safe and costeffective manner. The company operates a versatile fleet of 59 units that comprises drillships jackup rigs semisubmersible rigs and tender rigs for operations in shallow to ultradeepwater areas in harsh environment and benign environments. Seadrill has some 7500 skilled and highly competent employees representing some 75 nationalities operating in 15 countries on five continents. Seadrill is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and the Oslo Stock Exchange. Seadrill is searching for a highly motivated and individualistic experienced individual to join the payroll team in our global employment company Seadrill International Resourcing â DMCC based in our Corporate office in the JLT Freezone in Dubai UAE. The main objectives are to prepare the monthly payroll and ensure duly approval and followup post payment as well. The key responsibilities for the HR Administrator â Payroll are Owner and responsible processor for the International Expatriate Payroll for one or several offshore drilling units Responsible for collecting processing and analysing monthly expense claims extra days and training dayâs claims in accordance with internal policies and procedures Support the relevant offshore personnel on general queries Maintain the masterdata in our Payroll software for the relevant offshore rigs Education ¨ Bachelor Level in Business Administration Accounting or Finance Experience Minimum of three 3 years of experience in payrollaccountingHR administration with knowledge of best practices and general HR practices is required. Proficient in Microsoft Office Word Excel Power Point and Outlook Experience with payroll software or HRMS software is advantageous Skills ¨ Position requires a high degree of professionalism sound judgment and ability to maintain strict confidentiality ¨ Excellent communication and organizational skills ¨ Able to prioritize workload in a fast paced environment with changing deadlines. ¨ Ability to effectively manage multiple tasksprojects ¨ Work effectively with management and employees at all levels ¨ Solid understanding of work processes and systems Knowledge ¨ Knowledge of best practice payrollHRaccounting processes and systems Behaviours Proactive and detailed work attitude Team player Good communication skills Commercial awareness and business acumen High level of integrity and capable of handling confidential information High work capacity Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines Ability to rapi more...
