Due to a new project award we are currently seeking a qualifiedAcircnbspSenior Project Engineer PowerAcircnbspwith experience in the power industry to be part our team that will design and manage the construction of two greenfield gasturbine power plants in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Job Requirements
Position Title Engineering Manager
Supervises Direct Reports A discipline or discipline team
Purpose of Position
Manage the discipline the overall technical integrity of its work and ensure
that it is equipped to provide the required engineering services to WorleyParsons and its clients.
Extensive power plant EPCM andAcircnbspmega project experience desirable.
Smart Plant Materials experience desirable.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES OF POSITION
1. Manage the disciplines and ensure that the engineering services that it delivers meet WorleyParsons its clients and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
2. Ensure that all discipline personnel understand the engineering processes that deliver Technical Integrity Safety in Design and Sustainability outcomes
3. Specifically ensure that the engineering services the discipline delivers meet project requirements on time and within budget.
4. Provide specialist technical direction and advice to the discipline and project teams conduct peer reviews actively participate in the WorleyParsons Communities of Practice and consult with relevant resources as required.
6. Drive a culture of accountability within the group and enforce the necessary measures when performance is inadequate
7. Ensure Continuous Improvement is being made by the group with the implementation of an Annual
Improvement Plan and addressing lessons learnt
8. Drive a culture of 'doing it right first time' and delivering practical engineering solutions that are fit for
purpose
9. Within the discipline develop improve and maintain WorleyParsons engineering systems processes
practices and procedures.
10. Lead and manage the discipline including
a manage the scope of projects and any changes to scope in accordance with WorleyParsons
and any project specific change management processes
b outline project requirements assign tasks and supervise progress
c manage the overall technical integrity of the discipline's work including safety in design and
sustainable design
d ensure the required services meet WorleyParsons its clients and applicable statutory and
regulatory requirements
e motivate and manage the performance and develop people within the group including the provision of on the job training
f proactively forecast personnel needs across all projects for the discipline communicate with project management and assign personnel to projects and work with HR to initiate recruitment or demobilization where required.

11. Communicate effectively with the disciplines clients and other project stakeholders and make presentations as required.
12. Represent the discipline both within WorleyParsons and with external parties such as clients and
contractors.
13. Establish and maintain good working relationships within WorleyParsons with its clients and other
stakeholders.
14. Proactively resolve any discrepancies between WorleyParsons and its client's requirements.
15. Keep uptodate with the latest developments and technical innovations in the discipline.
16. Prepare project documentation such as proposals estimates budgets and schedules.

Qualifications Accreditation Training
Required
iuml130middot A recognised engineering degree in the relevant discipline or equivalent.
Preferred
iuml130middot Chartered Professional Engineer CPEng status.
iuml130middot Postgraduate qualifications in the relevant discipline management project management or
supervisory qualifications or equivalent.
