Job Description
1. Manages customer project delivery typically
Very largecomplex covering single or multiple region
Complexity legal and commercial issues
2. Manages project financials including PampL
Meets or exceeds approved financial measures
Provides reliable financial forecasts to management
3. Manages business development
Identifies and develops new opportunities with customer
Supports early qualification and opportunity assessment for large and complex opportunities
Acts as opportunity manager for major deals
4. Manages client relationships
Manages high level client relationships
Represents the HP organization to external customersclients
5. Leads program team
Leads team of internal and external resources as required
Mentors and encourages skill development of project team members for senior level through others
Provides detail performance review input and development recommendations for key contributors
Mentors others providing a role model and support for individual development
PM Requirements
1. Actively develops and incorporates profound understanding of client factors when planning and executing client projectprogram activities
2. Applies programproject management methods and processes to define plan cost resource track and ensure the accomplishment of targeted goals
3. Continuously monitors troubleshoots and improves program to ensure program effectiveness
4. Resolves program issues quickly to maintain client satisfaction while protecting HP's interests
5. Effectively manages and develops project team to achieve projectprogram objectives
6. Able to demonstrate good experience on previous complex IT projects
7. Manage bids the ability to demonstrate strong bid management experience for large multinational xBU programs is an advantage
8. Possesses strong understanding of good project governance and shows a track record of implementation of well governed projects
9. Demonstrated ability to operate as a business peer with senior client and HP management stakeholders.
10. Good appreciation of the role IT plays in a client's business and the impact on the business of IT improvements
Education and Experience Required First Level University degree
10 years experience in project management
Knowledge and Skills Required Demonstrates an indepth understanding of key operational policies processes and methodologies applicable to project management.
