Agency Senior Account Manager
. AprilSix are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager lsquoSAMrsquo to joinnbspone of our talented client services teams providing the opportunity to work on onenbspof our flagship B2B technology clients.nbspWe work with some of the worldrsquos leading technology brands including MicrosoftnbspCisco VMware Canon and Avanade some of which have been clients of oursnbspfor over eight years. Customer centricity therefore is fundamental to everythingnbspwe do and we are looking for a likeminded individual who understands the valuenbspof strong service ethics.
AprilSix founded in 2000 is a subsidiary of the The Mission Marketing Groupnbspplc. Today the mission has 10 specialist agencies employing almost 800 peoplenbspin 17 offices.
The role reporting to an Account Director will involve a combination of thenbspfollowing
bull Commercial Awareness. nbspUnderstanding the parameters of the clientrsquos budget in order to deliver innbspline with their expectations as well as maintaining the profitability of eachnbspproject.
bull Project Ownership. nbspEndtoend project implementation from initial briefing to final deliverynbspensuring that client briefs are interpreted well work prioritised internalnbspprocesses followed and deadlines met. The Senior Account Manager mustnbsphave an ability to lead a strategic response to brief.nbsp
bull Client VisibilityStrong client relationships are critical ndash you will be the main point ofnbspcontact for your client for all daytoday matters. To negotiate and gainnbspapproval from your client on all projects and creative work to ensure it isnbspcarried out in line with agreed parameters.nbsp
bull Client Knowledge. nbspTo develop an understanding of your clientrsquos business their competitorsnbsptheir market their objectives. You will need to evaluate copy and creativenbspwork to assess its suitability for client presentation.
bull Evaluating. Creative Articulate briefing of internal creative departments participation innbspbrainstorms and evaluation of creative work prior to client presentation arenbspkey skills.
bull Presentation Skills. nbspTo both orally and in writing present the Agencyrsquos recommendationsnbspeffectively logically and concisely.
bull Proactivity. nbspThinking proactively on behalf of your client and the agency. Consideringnbspnew marketing initiatives and forthcoming projects.
bull Team Player. nbspBe conscious of the rest of your team appreciate their workload and offernbspsupport where possible.
