Job Description

Our client is one of the largest real estate developers in the UAE with properties valued in excess of 1 billion USD. Currently they are in need of an experienced Project Manager to manage landscaping and infrastructure works on their properties under construction in Dubai. This is an opportunity to break into a reputable company which will have ongoing projects for the foreseeable future.

Duties and Responsibilities

Project management of infrastructure projects.

Design different landscapes.

Oversight of construction on landscaping works.

Project management of infrastructure and utilities works on projects currently under construction.

Coordinate with and give direction to contractors and consultants.

Specifically oversee irrigation.

Act in capacity as client representative.

Review list of suppliers and materials to ensure best quality and durability for the project.

Control and monitor the HSE Health Safety and Environmental plans adapted by the contractor.

Arrange for meetings with contractors and design consultant to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures quality progress contractor claims and construction problems.

Review and comment on the contractors baseline programs in line with the project requirements i.e. sequence of works interface with others resources.

Perform a key role in project planning review budgeting and identification of resources needed.

Create and nurture the team develop the objectivesgoals of each and assign individual responsibilities.

Project accounting functions including managing the budget tracking team expenses and minimizing exposure and risk in the project.

Requirements

5 years experience specifically working on landscaping projects.

University degree is preferred.

Candidate should be located within GCC currently.

UAE experience is preferred.

Previous experience as Project Manager is required.
