Planning Manager



Duties and responsibilities

• Developing the planning department work plan and manages short and long range planning and scheduling functions.


• Establishing and maintaining consistent and adequate procedures in their field


• Assessment of potential time impact of variations and dissemination of all progress data across packages.


• Provision of time management to the whole project team.


• Ensuring that each Planning Engineer runs his or her section to the highest professional standards that all information is current and that every member of the team is receiving the information he or she needs to fulfil their responsibilities.


• Developing and maintaining the Projects Master Schedules


• Coordinating and managing individual Project Schedulers


• Overview of consultant or contractor schedule reviews


• Schedule claims analysis


• Preparation of special schedules.


• Assessment of potential time impact of variations


• Collate disseminate apply trending.


• Providing service delivery to clients demonstrating your role as a key stakeholder and first point of call for these clients


• Fluency with the different procurement methods available in the industry


• Demonstrate an understanding of overall project requirements and the ability to advise client8217s knowledgably on overall project costs.


• Confidently managed performance related issues
