PR Communications Manager
Job Summary
This position reports directly to the Head of Marketing with responsibility for the local UAE and International PR amp Communications operations of Better Homes LLC United Arab Emirates GCC and Middle East region extending to the firm’s franchise networks.
The successful applicant should have a minimum 6 years experience in PR roles and will have the skills and expertise to lead the strategic planning development and implementation of external and internal PR programs which support the BH plan. Should have proven experience of developing PR strategies which leverage both traditional and social PR platforms
Main Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement a strategic PR plan which ensures that Better Homes continues to be considered the opinion leader authority within real estate
2. Cultivate and maintain key media relationships and relationships with other key opinion formers
3. Write and edit press releases newsletters speeches articles and annual reports. Maintain and update media and news information on the BH website
4. Leverage Social Media channels to ensure positive brand exposure. Includes content development
5. Develop PR materials and content to support activity
6. Act as the company spokesperson this may include speaking in public at presentations press conferences radio and TV interviews and meetings
7. Answer enquiries from individuals journalists and other organisations
8. Organise special events such as press conferences exhibitions open days tours competitions and sponsorship
9. Conceptualise and prepare accurate information to create publicity material which addresses current issues and enquiries and proactively raises the image of the organization.
10. Produce copy and content for marketing materials such as brochures leaflets website and annual reports if required.
11. Develop and implement media training for key BH management
12. Run inhouse communication programs to communicate brand values and company marketing
13. Develop market intelligence through scanning the external environment for emerging issues supervising the research analyzing and forecasting of emerging issues prioritizing these issues as they emerge and then developing strategies and tactics for implementation. Monitoring and evaluating the success of internal and external communications. Keeping up on media trends to ensure marketing campaigns are relevant and sensitive to current issues.
What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?
• Ideal candidate must have minimum of 6years of experience with a strong background and work experience of PR
• Applicants must have local exposure within the United Arab Emirates with an extensive network and contacts in the mediapress
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative style
• Must possess excellent communication skills within English. Second language is an added advantage. Both verbal amp written
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in MS office and knowledge of technical and designbased applications.
• Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives
• Excel at operating in a fast paced closeknit environment
• Heshe will possess a Bachelor’s Degree preferably in PR andor Marketing
• Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organisation
• Ability to look at situations from several points of view
• Persuasive with details and facts.
