Database Support Engineers for Bahrain

VAM Systems is currently looking for Database Support Engineers for our Bahrain operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions: Experience/Knowledge Manage databases systems through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems. Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security. Allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements for the database system Modifying the database structure, as necessary, from information given by application developers Apply data modeling techniques to ensure development and implementation support efforts meet integration and performance expectations Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end. Create complex query definitions that allow data to be extracted Controlling and monitoring user access to the database Generating various reports by querying from database as per need Backing up and restoring databases Ensuring compliance with database vendor license agreement Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes · Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities. Experience required : 5+ years Terms and conditions: Joining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 1 month).
