Senior Infrastructure Consultant for Qatar

VAM SYSTEMS is a Business Consulting, IT Technology Solutions and Services company with operations in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, USA, Australia, Singapore &India. VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for Senior Infrastructure Consultant for our Qatar operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions: Minimum Required Experience • 15yrs or more working experience in high-level technical Information Security • Worked in IT Consulting companies • Worked in large-scale organizations • and/or worked in IT-vendor environment • Presentations in front of large audience Skill Set required: • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or IT-related matter or equivalent experience. • Certification in Systems/Networking including MCP, MCSE, CCNP, or specific vendor/product certifications are preferred. • Deep understanding of technical relations in a complex environment. • Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting UNIX/LINUX based environments. • Experience in Virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Microsoft Hyper V, and Virtual Box). • Experience in implementing and supporting physical, virtualized and cloud infrastructure systems such as Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure. • In depth knowledge in Microsoft technology (Windows 2012, IIS & SQL server 2008, AD, TMG), especially, expertise in Microsoft IIS (web services). • Experience and the highest certifications of one/all of the following vendors would be preferred: Microsoft, Cisco, and VMware. • Hands-on experiences with firewall, IPS, F5 load balancer, WAF and other network appliances. • Strong background and experience in TCP/IP networking of large-scale organization, including DNS, DHCP, FTP WSUS. • Excellent and accent-free communication skills in English (Arabic an advantage). • Proper and structured documentation and diagramming. • Excellent organizational skills in enterprise support. • Being able to identify new work areas and to set new goals for themselves. • Knowledge of ISO 27001 (Information Security Management System) standards.
