Senior Trainer

Vacancy: Senior Trainer for a multinational company The Senior Trainer delivers divisional and local training programmes in line with the annual training plan to ensure everyone is trained to perform their job successfully. The ideal candidate should be able consistently and transparently attract, develop and retain quality people who provide outstanding and distinctive service and customer care. Key Accountabilities & Activities To facilitate training using different methodologies, in line with the agreed training design and annual plan, to ensure time and budgets are spend efficiently and to ensure the successful transfer of the necessary skills and knowledge. • Deliver local training programmes. • Attends Divisional Train-the-Trainer sessions • Delivers Divisional Training and Development Programmes • Monitor and record improvement opportunities for materials, contents and methods. • Verify the transfer and retention of skills and knowledge. • Liaises with and monitors external suppliers according to the performance criteria set by the Training Manager To develop and update training & development programmes to ensure the business needs and the needs and expectations of the target group are met. • Regularly carry out a training needs analysis with the target group and management to ensure business and individual needs are closely aligned. • Develops a proposal in line with target group and business requirements in which learning objectives are linked to KPI outcomes to ensure training adds maximum value. • Develop local training programmes choosing the most suitable and cost effective learning methodology. • Liaise with Divisional Head Office and external companies, when appropriate, during the needs analysis, development or update of training programmes. • Review training material developed by external partners according to high quality standards (no spelling or grammar mistakes; error-free; language and content tailored to the target audience) • Regularly review and update training programmes. To gather training data to provide up-to-date training records, suggestions for improvements of training and development activities and to provide line management with input for the annual training plan. • Inform management on trainee’s progress (e.g. evaluation reports) • Solicit and gather information on the quality and effectiveness of training programmes. • Produce accurate and timely reports as requested. • Analyse training data and provide suggestions for improvement • Maintain relevant Learning Management System or other training database or training records in line with Divisional Guidelines and Local Legal Requirements • Provide input (type of training activities needed, budget and resource related information) on the annual training plan Comply with the company's corporate responsibility, health, safety and environmental standards and responsibilities as identified Preferred Experience and Knowledge - 3 to 6 years of experience in a training delivery and development - Thorough understanding of training material design and delivery - Knowledge of the business levers, processes and structures - Experience in communicating with staff from different cultures and/or countries - Demonstrated analytical, interpersonal and negotiation skills - Excellent communication skills at operation and decision making level - Excellent English skills - Excellent knowledge in Microsoft applications - Training related qualifications Note: The ideal candidate should be able to travel in regular bases to Saudi Arabia.
