Mgr Human Resources

Responsibilities Conducts HR programs such as orientation recruiting events employee relations meetings talent management Coordinates onboarding hiring and payroll processes Manages daytoday relationship with external suppliersvendors Supports performance management processes Monitors and ensures compliance with local labor laws monitors local regulations reviews work contracts implements status changes Ensures accurate and compliant pay including payroll and benefits administration Conducts annual competitive benchmarking analysis and other HR reports for the site Develops supervisors to improve their management capabilities Develops and administer local rewards programs based on corporate compensation philosophy business objectives and International programs Manages the recruitment processes in partnership with TA Facilitates training and development may teach inhouse courses Implements and ensures a clear shared understanding of HR procedurespolicies Builds and maintains knowledge of Amgen’s products therapeutic areas markets and businessfinancial model Understands key business processes to ensure HR initiatives add value to Amgen’s local and regional business goals Basic Qualifications Doctorate Degree OR Master's Degree amp 3 years of Human Resources experience OR Bachelor's Degree 5 years of Human Resources experience OR Associate's degree 10 years of Human Resources experience OR High school diplomaGED 12 years of Human Resources experience Preferred Qualifications Minimum Requirements University Degree in Psychology Sociology HR Business Administration or similar degree legally equivalent experience Solid previous experience covering a variety of functions such as rewards staffing training employee relations Fluent in English both oral and written Preferred Requirements Pharmaceutical experience is preferred but not a requirement Multinational company experience in a matrixed environment Multiple language capabilities
