They are looking for a Trackwork Specialistnbsp in DohaQatar.



Roles amp responsibilities

8226 Responsible to ensure the Contractors follow the contract specifications consistently amp meet Project requirements as per the Contract Program.

8226 Monitors all track work related construction activities and assists Resident Engineer in the review verification and approval of progresspayment applications from contractor.

8226 Prepares monitors and provides progress updates

8226 Assists Alignment Engineer in reviewing design drawings for errors and inconsistencies and assists with the compilation of construction estimates and design revisions. Performs reviews and evaluates track work and civil designs to ensure adequacy and completeness verifying that they meet the necessary fabrication construction operation safety maintenance requirements

8226 Ensures the Contractors complies with the contract documents and specifications Project Health Safety and Environmental Plan during the execution of Track work and associated equipment.

8226 Prepares all correspondence and reports attends meetings and reviews daily inspection reports related to track work and associated depot equipment.

8226 Performs reviews and coordinates all issues related to the installation of track. This includes horizontal and vertical track alignments turnouts and track structure elements hardware trackwheel interface rail welding storage installation and maintenance requirements.

8226 Coordinates with Material Engineer amp ensures material testing and construction works are done as per contract specifications.

8226 Coordinates construction work with civil and rail systems sections.

8226 Conducts field inspections to review and coordinate all issues related to construction of the Railhead and installation of track. This includes inspection of construction materials to ensure compliance design specifications in the areas of depot equipment track work materials and track work equipment.

8226 Carry out substantial and final inspection of the trackwork amp related equipment prepares punch list and ensures taking over procedures are implemented.

8226 Ensures updated as built records are maintained recording all deviations from the original design
