The Group Account Director role

The Group Account Director is critical to the client services team. This individual will be required to run a team to drive excellence in client relationships strategically and creatively rapidly growing client business and new business opportunities to hit revenue targets. This senior role needs to represent the agency values both internally and externally assisting in raising the profile of the business and driving awardwinning excellence.

Group Account Director Objectives

• Run an account management team effectively ensuring high quality service delivering excellence on every level from the day to day running to strategic planning and implementation and award winning creative

• Manage the finances and revenue of the team growing and developing the strength and depth of the offering aiming to meet targets and exceed them

• Ensure that financial processes are run as accurately as possible and a clear pipeline is defined

• Recruit the best talent to deliver service and quality to clients

• Drive new business working with the CSD to create the strategy and focus and implement effectively to create results and opportunities

• Work existing and new networks to generate new business and grow existing client business

• Develop career progression for the teams with the CSD to ensure ambitions and abilities within the team are being achieved through appraisals objectives and mentoring

• Present the business offering appropriately and with confidence to all audiences

• Ensure the business values are delivered through the team and communicated internally and externally
