ROLE CONTEXT



  • The role is to provide group level cross departmental support and leadership for Technology Strategy Economical Analytics Governance Architecture and Program Management.

  • The purpose of this role is also to Group Technology Office Team leadership in directly supporting in Strategy Economics Governance Architecture and Business Planning activities.

  • Technology department drives technology innovation coordination and expert support for the Group. Under broad management direction.

  • Group Technology works closely with operating companies to develop technology strategies aligned to group strategy and assists with execution of group Technology plans.

  • The role closely collaborates with other members of the grouplevel technology team that drive overall technology road maps and vision as well as operating company CTOs.





  • ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES



    • Developing and maintaining advanced costinvest models giving a defined and quantified output based on the main costinvest drivers of the projecttopic.




      • Leading the OG Technology contribution towards Business Development Merger and Acquisitions activities




        • Support GCTO with strategic agenda items and overall Group performance management




          • Responsible to ensure the development of the Group technology roadmap and architecture guidelines




            • Responsible to ensure correct implementation of Governance amp Processes within the OG Technology as well as coordinating with other nontechnology groups and OpCos.




              • Leads in the provision of a broad range of support encompassing Businesscase evaluation due diligence merger and acquisition cost benefit studies sensitivity analysis group and local financial budget planning support and any kind of technology wide projects in need of techno economical supportdrive.




                • Lead the development and implementation of common and consistent OG Global Network Economics approaches and business case valuations across all OpCos.




                  • Interfaces with Technology Finance Strategy and Strategic Sourcing to provide indepth economical technical modelling and economics expertise in the area of revenue and costefficiency assurance.





                  • EXPERIENCE



                    • International experience from major Tier1 Telco working both for Group as well as for Local Operations.

                    • 12 years of industry experience with Telecommunications or Information Systems.

                    • Leadership experience with Technology Planning amp Strategy.

                    • Leadership and ability to develop technoeconomical analytical modelling.

                    • Leadership of complex strategic Technology programs MampA transformational

                    • Experience is leading team to develop technology enablers amp corporate strategies for new business.

                    • Extensive Telco Technology knowledge with experience with NTamp IT systems and architectures.

                    • Extensive experience in Techno Economical analytical modelling as applied to the Telecommunications and Technologies.

                    • Strategic as well as in depth knowledge of key Telecommunications Technologies and trends.

                    • Extensive knowledge in Technology Financial and cost optimization and synergy methods and strategies.

                    • Extensive Knowledge and understanding of technology amp business strategy processes amp governance

                    • Experience in leading strategic level team





                    • QUALIFICATIONS



                      Bachelors Degree in Telecommunications or information science. Masters would be an advantage

                      • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of cultures in a diverse organization

                      • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills including ability to foster a cooperative work environment and build high performance teams

                      • Ability to make effective and presentations to boards CxO's and senior management

                      • Mature ability to work collaboratively with management teams throughout the organization and to be seen as a valuable resource to be sought out

                      • Excellent people management problem solving negotiation and decision making skills

                      • Strong ability to communicate ideas and plans verbally and in writing

                      • Business acumen and ability to establish strategies and roadmaps aligned to the Corporate and OpCo strategy

                      • Strong focus on quality and continuous improvement
