Production Manager

Responsible for the management of assigned departments' operations consistent with cost quality productivity safety and people management objectives.

Effectively utilizes assigned resources to execute the Company’s manufacturing plans objectives and programs in a manner which will result in timely manufacturing and delivering targeted volumes of high quality products at the lowest possible cost while maintaining work place quality and staff high morale.

Administers personnel policies and procedures with regards to manpower plans job descriptions performance plans performance evaluations salary administration and training and development of subordinates and other plant staff.

Establishes the responsibilities and key results areas of subordinate supervisors. Establishes SMART and challenging operational goals and objectives for each budget year that focus on productivity product and service quality safety and housekeeping material usage and loss control unit cost and cost savings.

Carries out periodical capacity study to insure plant capability to handle production requirements and recommend necessary capital expenditure.

Participates in formulating the plant operating and capital budgets and controls execution of approved budgets explains and reports variances.

Manage execution of capital projects within approved budget cost and time frame. Monitors operational expenses materials usage and Losses and overall unit cost to insure efficient resources utilization and to initiate corrective actions as required. Submits monthly reports to Plant Manager detailing operational activities during the month.

Skills

BS Engineering Industrial Mechanical or Electrical from a reputed university.

Minimum 7 years of experience out of which at least 3 years in a managerial position in a professionally managed multinational manufacturing company.

Strong leadership traits team player with planning and visionary thinking.

Good people management and communication skills.

Analytical problem solving and decision making capabilities.

Bilingual EnglishArabic with excellent report writing and presentation skills.

Good computer knowledge specially MS Office applications Excel Word and Power Point.
