Job Description and Key responsibilities

 Develop review plan and direct the designs and strategies for structural Concept and detailed design Multi Disciplinary team Leadership coordination and management  Provide suitable solutions for sustainability issues relating to the structural design and the other disciplines accordingly Manage the growth of the structural design unit and foster its crossdisciplinary connections within the group Preparation of technical and financial proposals in conjunction with Architecture and Engineering Train Monitor Lead and Develop the structural department  Coordinate allocation of staff to meet project schedules and budgeted hours Ensuring through interdepartmental cooperation that structural issues are addressed adequately and at the appropriate project stage  Technical Guidance on design Construction amp Building with Economical and HampS level Personnel and Equipment coordination Acquisition of materials and equipment Budget preparation and control Site planning and management Contract and payments control

 Management of the relationship with subcontractors consultants and local authorities.Be responsible for Design development and testing to prove component function and reliability

 Provide innovative design solutions to meet aggressive timing product cost and reliability targets Drive quick complete technical root cause analysis of field failures and identify design related corrective actions to prevent recurrence Identify and execute cost saving ideas and strategies Drive lessons learned best practices and standardization into drawings specifications design practices and processes  Produce construction drawings based on structural specifications engineering calculations sketches andor detailed drawings and design information according to project standards and procedures in line with Nakheel DM and TRAKHEES regulations Compile data and perform dimensional and routine calculations required for drawing preparations and checking process Responsibilities also include field work to obtain existing site information and other duties as assigned Analyze structures using various structural engineering software programsPrepare manual and system structural calculations and details of structural elements for various materials Perform field activities such as observation of construction activities Review construction submittals for conformance to contract and design documents.Work with CAD technicians to develop quality design documents.Management of the Structural design team ensuring resources and budget requirements are met  To oversee the production and delivery of quality worldclass structural documentation To oversee contractor submissions reviewing and approval of drawings and specifications To coordinate and facilitate the transfer of information between the structural architectural and building services departments Provision of technical expertise to consultants contractors and other disciplines amp Liaison with relevant local Authorities Recruitment and development of structural engineering staff.
