DataInformation Governance Consultant

About the Job

The Strategy and Analytics SampA Information Governance Consultant is expected to lead SampA engagement activities ranging from presales to sales to delivery as required by the client engagementcontract. They will be subject matter experts in all facets of Information Governance IG in large complex global environments. This consultant will be responsible for contributing to the development of a strategic vision and a tactical roadmap to address client's critical Business IntelligenceAnalytics needs in conformance with overall corporate objectives establishing project vision and objectives with the client supporting proposal team through development of project scope and approach to solution client issue. The consultant will also need to draft and review responses to Requests for Information RFI responses to Requests for Proposal RFP. This consultant must be conversant with contractual designs and be able to draft and review contracts and statements of work support Information Governance engagements design and recommend governance structures and control frameworks for the ongoing IG management and mentor clients on Information Governance in consulting capacity.

Job Requirements

• Practical expertise building Information Governance strategies processes councils and culture over structured and unstructured content


• Executive level presence communication facilitation and persuasive skills


• Expertise in project management


• Consulting and presales experience


• Experience in defining Business Intelligence BI roadmaps and establishing organizational structure


• Experience implementing Regulatory Controls Policy Development Standards Development and Organizational Change Management


• Experience in Operations Competency Issue Processes Audit Processes Triage Processes and Data Classification Processes


• Working knowledge of Metadata Management and practical application experience


• Data Quality knowledge and practical application experience


• Understanding of the practical application of the technology to implement data quality modeling integration security meta data retention and disposal


• Understanding of the fundamentals of data modeling and data integration


• Experience in IBM Information Governance Methodology is a plus

  • Bachelor's Degree
  
  
  • At least 3 years experience in Data Quality including practical application expertise with multiple tools such as Informatica Data Quality IBM InfoSphere QualityStage or SAS DataFlux
  
  
  • At least 3 years experience in Metadata Management
  
  
  • At least 3 years experience in Data Integration
  
  
  • At least 3 years experience in Data Modeling
  
  
  • At least 5 years experience in Project Management
  
  
  • At least 3 years experience in management consulting for a consulting andor professional services firms including experience with presales
  
  
  • Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week home on weekendsbased on project requirements
  
  
  • English Fluent
