Service Description Sidra will open in March 2015 with 399 beds. We are recruiting Staff Nurses NOW for our 2 Pediatric Intensive Care units General Pediatric ICU 24 bed unit caring for infants and children up to 18 years of age with life threatening or unstable conditions that require critical care medicine. Cardiac Surgical Pediatric ICU 24 bed unit caring for infants and children up to 18 years of age with simple and complex congenitive and acquired heart disease who require intensive care medicine and correction surgery. Job Summary PICU Staff Nurses at Sidra are professionally accountable to the PICU Clinical Nurse Manager and report directly to the PICU Clinical Nurse Leader. The PICU Staff Nurse is responsible for competently providing safe and effective care to children with minimal supervision by the Clinical Nurse Leader. The PICU Staff Nurse assesses care needs plans implements and evaluates programs of care. The PICU Staff Nurse is responsible for ensuring that all duties are carried out to the highest possible standard. The PICU Staff Nurse participates in the supervision and teaching of more junior and new members of staff within the unit. PICU Staff Nurses will rotate from days to nights via http://ift.tt/1t2UpIn
