Purchasing Supervisor Technical

Role Purpose

Construct a corporate concession for biddingquotingbuying that can be pushed out to the defined buying groups. Support the organization with purchasing core related tasks adhere to Company policy in regards to Procurement Manual reflecting it to provide supply Zain with the right services in terms of quality price accomplishment successful win win situation implementation provisioning proactivity growth and commitment plus facilitate competitive bids

Key AccountabilitiesPlanning

Identify new suppliers agree terms and negotiate supply agreements where appropriate including discount structures and volume rebates.

Full compliance with procurement processes and procedures.

Identify cost savings opportunities and improve efficiencies.

Makes recommendations for developing or revising internal procurement procedures

Management

Ensure compliance to all purchasing policies

Manage and administer daily activities of direct reporting purchasing staff and provide onjob training to staff.

Monitor all purchasing activities.

Maintain professional relationships with suppliers and provide an effective interface with all departments

Creates preferred pricing and supply agreements including blanket orders negotiates terms and conditions

Manages the analysis process for the procurement of goods and services.

Provides support to Procurement Department personnel.

Executing

Evaluate quotes and coordinate with suppliers to provide required component bids and analyze supplier performance for improvement

Source negotiate PO8217s and execute agreements to fulfill day to day business needs primarily for high value specialty materials and services not available on existing agreements

Verify deliveries against purchase orders when required.

Vendor Management

Meets with vendorssuppliers to discuss and evaluate productsservices and stay abreast of industry trendsdevelopments

Acting as key liaison to direct activities with external licensing firm

Team Management

Provide clear direction prioritize and enthusiasm for the Procurement TeamDepartment.

Plan Manage and review individual performance and provide regular feedback developing opportunities and coaching taking prompt action where necessary.
