This is a truly unique opportunity to become involved at a senior level with an exciting new venture in Saudi Arabia. The opening of a women’s further education college has seen the need for a new Financial Controller in order to ensure the effective and efficient financial management of the College.Responsible to the Director of Finance for the delivery of the Finance Management Reporting procurement and Risk Management activities its service projects people and finances. Key tasks will include managing the payroll function preparing financial reports for senior management delegation and monitoring of budgets and the development of a motivated high performing team. The successful candidate will display personal warmth openness and the ability to deal with issues with tact and sensitivity. As you will liaise with a diverse range of individuals at all levels excellent verbal written communication skills are essential and you must have a diplomatic yet pragmatic manner and demonstrate a high level of cultural awareness. This role will suit a cheery resilient individual with a sense of humour and plenty of initiative who is motivated by making a positive impact and is looking to take on a challenging yet immensely rewarding role. The ideal candidate will have an accounting or finance related degree or equivalent qualification and at least 35 years management experience within a finance department and ideally FE education environmentAs you will be based in Saudi Arabia flights and daily travel accommodation will be provided.
