Finance Manager Dubai

An excellent opportunity to manage all finance and accounting functions for a multinational organisation. You will report into the FD whilst providing leadership to a team of junior accountants. The ideal candidate will be a strong problem solver with the ability to resolve conflicts and have full responsibility over PL and Group Reporting.nbsp

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintaining books of accounts and ensuring that accounting transactions are recorded in line with International Accounting Standards IAS

• Responsible for accounting information as per International Accounting Standards IAS. Due attention will be paid to Smiths Groups accounting policies and procedures while processing accounting transactions for the entity

• Will supervise and guide a team of accountants in ensuring that they carry out their duties as detailed in their individual job descriptions. This will also involve mentoring of their subordinates to ensure they are providing the required standards

• Support the Finance Director in month end and yearend financial analysis and will provide explanations to key information and data resulting from variances to different balances

• Support the Finance Director during the preparation of budgets and forecasts and will provide information to support assumptions and estimates in compiling these budgets and forecasts

Required Skills and Experience

• Accounting Degree

• Computer literacy advance Excel skills Pivot tables Charts reporting

• A minimum of 7 years of related experience in a senior finance role.

• Able to take lead and solve problems resolve conflicts

• Mentor and manage a team of accountants

• Strong reporting experience

• SAP preferred or ERP experience
