Female Fitness Instructor

Fitness Instructors provide a comprehensive oneonone personal fitness assessment and training program. The purpose of the program is to assist clients in setting and achieving realistic fitness goals based on each client8217s needs. Ultimately the client should be able to individually develop and follow

•Assess the needs and capabilities of individuals through fitness assessment procedures.

•Develop group exercise routines choreographed to music.

•Advise individuals on the correct method and use of exercise machines and devices including weights.

•Develop individual exercise programs for individuals based on age and fitness level.

•Provide instruction in a variety of fitness activities including non gym related activities.

•Assist in the cleaning and general maintenance of the facility and ensure that equipment is maintained and properly configured.

•Assist at the front counter.

•Liaise with physiotherapists dietitians and other health professionals to develop fitness programs for clients.

•Knowledge of swimming teachers health and safety responsibilities

•Recognized first Aid at work qualification

•Principles of excellent customer service

•Teaching swimming to classes of mixed age and ability

•Ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of the swimming lesson program

•Developing positive relationship with class participants

•Ensuring a safe and secure environment for visitors and clients

•Achieve performance target

•Actively promoting initiatives to improve membership sales

•Maintaining written and electronic records of customer progress

•Guidelines and regulations are observed and enforced.

•Prior to the commencement of each course prepare suitable lessons plan based on the standards

•Ensure the correct equipment is available and prepared prior to the start of each swimming lesson

•Read and make sure the poolside Manor Handbook is understood ensuring that all relevant policies are implemented

•Regularly inspect pool facilities equipment and water condition to ensure that they are safe and functional at all times.

•Remain vigilant at all times and proactively prevent a potential emergency situation and administer first aid or CPR when necessary.

•Perform and over see the cleaning of the pool and any maintenance or landscaping work that takes place keeping in mind the safety of the guests.

•Ensure that at the start and end of a shift the pool furniture is properly laid out and returned back to its storage location
