For more information visit the company's website at www.ge.com Relocation Expenses Yes Role SummaryPurpose This critical position in the PGS Engineering organization will facilitate lead and manage the closure of all engineering related customer issues associated with Saudi Electric Company SEC which is a critical customer to GE PW's overall market position and future growth. This position will be a central focal point within Engineering who expedites communicates and removes bureaucracy to ensure faster resolution and a more positive customer experience. Essential Responsibilities This role will report directly to the CSE manager with dotted line responsibilities to the region.Interface directly with the customer's engineering teams at the customer. Forming a PGS Customer Focus Team comprised of Engineering and nonEngineering functions Field Services Contractual Services Sales Commercial Quality GSCM Global Parts Organization GPO to manage known Engineering related customer issues and associated Containment Correction and Continuous Improvement programs. Be responsible for being a liaison between engineering design teams and the customer teamsLead weekly Engineering Customer Focus Team meetings to drive necessary crossfunctional decisions to progress the resolution and closure of Engineering related customer issuesPerform daily triage of known Engineering related issues i.e. Root Cause Analysis RCA NonConformance Assessment NCA CIR Return Material Authorization RMA System Design Review SDR Quality Control Record QCR PAC subcases impacting that customerBreakdown or remove process barriers bureaucracy that prevent closure of Engineering related customer issuesEnsure appropriate communications to clarify Engineering's progress in addressing the issues are provided to the customer as needed Compile and publish weekly Customer Scorecard exception reports to Senior Leadership to provide visibility on current status progress made for the customerEnsure rapid resolution for all Engineering related customer issues QualificationsRequirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other technical discipline from an accredited university or collegeMinimum of 5 years Engineering experience Desired Characteristics Solid Power Plant andor Turbomachinery ExperienceDemonstrated Fastworks Six Sigma skills GE employees onlyDemonstrated process excellenceGreen Belt certified GE employees onlySelfStarter and able to work with limited supervisionStrong leadership and organizational skillsExcellent communication presentation and facilitation skills including the ability to influence and energize through all levels of the businessExperience with application of Change Acceleration Process CAP toolDemonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment.Master's Degree Engineering or other technical disciplineDemonstrated leadership GE Growth TraitsAbility to gain rapid assimilation depth of understanding of current processes procedures uncover defects identify improvements drive sustainable improvements resulting in measureable business impact for the businessDepth of experience knowledge in Gas andor Steam turbine systems Bill of Materials BOM configuration New more...
