For more information visit the company's website at www.ge.comRole SummaryPurposeThe OG Mechanical Technical Training Instructor will be responsible for development and delivery of training curriculum for technical courses both in classroom and in workshop serving the OG TMSDTS population. The OG Internal Technical Training team is chartered with development and delivery of stateoftheart employee technical training courses providing high quality capable field service representatives for the Global Service business to apply across the oil gas cycle.Essential Responsibilities• Serve as an assigned member of the Oil Gas Internal Technical Training staff. Heshe is qualified to conduct training sessions using approved training materials and is allowed to make revisions to training materials include changes in scope or learning objectives as approved by Technical Training Academy team.• Take leadership role in working with Technical Training Academy members to define develop and deliver training courses for GE and multivendor products classroom laboratory and workshop – Hands On.• Responsible for development and delivery to TMS DTS population as well as Global Operations Field Service Engineers both entry level and advanced technical training courses on GE Oil Gas equipment including scheduling supplemental support ordering materialstooling and other essential resources to instruct both classroom and workshop Hands On activities.• Able to deliver training in different Countries according to the Global Operation Strategy and TTA training calendar.• Integrate applicable business processes into the technical training programs.• Course Scheduling Logistics per strategic business requests which may include but not be limited to ordering and coordinating shipment of the necessary equipment tools and consumables in order to deliver the assigned courses.• Documentation Record keeping leverage technical reference materials where appropriate in training session update course material and conduct student performance evaluations • Own Drive course content improvement delivering on specific session CTQ’s • Leverage business subject matter experts as extended training team members where appropriate.• Heshe will need to align and revise the courses content and material according to the GE OG Quality procedures applicable.• Heshe should actively contribute to the development and maintenance of the Field Service Engineers certification testsQualificationsRequirements• Master’s Degree in Electronics or Software programming.• Experience in Control logics applied to the OG industry.• Must be a selfstarter able to work on their own initiative • Excellent verbal and written communication skills• High level of interpersonal skills collaboration and integrity• Fluent spoken English essential.• Experience with adult learning concepts• Good knowledge of Energy andor Petroleum MarketApplications GE OilGas product portfolio.• Excellent PC skills Word PowerPoint Excel Access• Ability to read technical drawings schematicsAdditional Eligibility QualificationsDesired Characteristics· Strong project management skills· Prior Experience in training and facilitation is preferred· Strong oral and written communication skills· Strong interpersonal and leadership skills· Able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization• Ability to travel globally 30• Previous experience as technical instructor will be a distinct advantageKey Skills Control Technical Training Instructor more...
