Job Description Contracts Specialist DAS Island Abu Dhabi



Our client a world leading Oil and Gas EPC is currently recruiting for a Contracts Specialist for a rotational role based on DAS Island Abu Dhabi to help coordinate identify develop and execute strategies for tenders and contracts.



The ideal candidate for this role will have around 10 years experience in the drafting of contracts MOUs and also estimating within the Oil and Gas industry with a demonstrated track record of successful construction contracts.



Candidates should be comfortable with the primary duties of this position which will include but not be limited to the following



Maintaining deep technical knowledge of project execution

Evaluation of contracts quotation and making legaltechnical recommendations

Commercially responsible and capable of taking up assignments in all aspects of contracts and project control including cost control

Advising Planning Department Project Manager and Operations Department about contractual rights and obligations

Attending negotiation meetings with clients

Coordination with EstimationProposals team for the review of bid preparation process



The purpose of this vacancy is to monitor the many contractsproposals activities in areas relating to a large LNG Plant whilst also coordinating and reporting progress to management.
