Relocation Expenses Yes Role SummaryPurpose The Field Commissioning is responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity. In this role you will follow an individual work plan meet daytoday shortterm objectives and resolve issues through immediate action or shortterm planning. Essential Responsibilities • Observes all operating wells in his area including fault finding and troubleshooting. Performs and records checks on installed units at the well site as well as pump performance.• Prepares all necessary installation and fault finding reports and have the same signed by the client.• Responsible for precommissioning commissioning surface equipment including transformer drive switchboard. Calculate required surface voltage designate proper transformer connections and wire size set up surface equipment and ensure system safety devices are installed and functioning.• Prepares loading notes material requisitions from stores delivery notes and checks all equipment before loading offloading.• Maintains proper reportsrecords of all ESP installation and supporting documents.• Responsible for complete set of tools and instruments maintenance as well as housekeeping.• Startup and monitor voltages amperage and production rates Set operating parameters on surface controller.• Inspect and repair all types of ESP surface equipment diagnose problems make applicable field repair to equipment and recommend appropriate action to the customer.• Diagnose problem and recommend or implement appropriate solution for surface problems including electrical solids production gaslocking pumps and insufficient fluid production.• Perform specialized electrical work including basic repair on VSD's troubleshooting downhole pressure systems converting switchboard wiring between different controller types.• Perform and record checks on installed units at the well site checking electrical and pump performance. Provide customer and company with accurate field service written reports.• Complete necessary paperwork for equipment identification and tracking inventory control.• Ensure periodic maintenance and repairs are made to the company vehicle. Maintain company vehicle with complete necessary inventory able to perform service jobs. QualificationsRequirements • Minimum of 5 years work experience in the ESP industry.• Postsecondary education in Electrical as a minimum. Electrical Engineering degree is a plus.• Good written and spoken English Language communication skills.• Well experienced and possesses sound knowledge in monitoring ESP wells with good fault finding and troubleshooting skills.• Able to work under pre more...
